Add beautiful green strips of flavorful herbs to your bruschettas, salads, soups, pastas, and other dishes with this easy cutting technique.

 

     
  How To Knife Skills: Chiffonade. 1. Stack 3–4 leaves together.  
       
  How To Knife Skills: Chiffonade. 2. Roll the leaves into a cylinder.  
       
  How To Knife Skills: Chiffonade. 3. Support one end of the cylinder with your fingers and cut across to create the ribbons. Unravel the leaves and sprinkle over your recipe.
