Brie with California Pistachio Nuts

This quick simple presentation breaks Brie out of the ordinary. Try exploring the same idea with lightly toasted pine nuts or a colorful mixture of chopped dried fruits.

Serves One 8-ounce Brie cheese—Approximately 12 portions.
1 8-ounce Rouge et Noir Brie cheese, room temperature
4-6 tablespoons finely chopped California pistachios
Crackers or bread
  1. Slice the Brie in half horizontally.
  2. Press half of the pistachios onto one of the cut surfaces.
  3. Place the together and cover the top of the Brie with the remaining pistachios.
  4. Serve wiith crackers or bread.
