Champagne with Lemon Sorbet

. This bubbly concoction is at once totally refreshing and supremely indulgent. Try it after dinner alongside a tray of delicate cookies and ripe berries. Perfect!

Ingredients
Serves 1
4 ounces Prosecco,* chilled
1 tablespoon vodka
1/2 cup lemon sorbet
~   mint for decoration
     
     
* Procecco is a sparkling wine from the Italian region near Treviso, and is much like dry French champagne. If Prosecco is unavailable, substitute a dry champagne like Brut.
 
 
Directions 
 

1. Chill the glass in the refrigerator, or fill it with ice for several minutes, then discard the ice.

2. Pour the Prosecco and vodka into the glass.

3. Add the sorbet, stir gently, top with a sprig of mint, and serve immediately.

 

 

Preparation time: Several minutes.
