Ice Cream Sundae with Chocolate Sauce

A sundae really needs no introduction, and it’s pretty much impossible to mess up. The only essential rule is to add chocolate sauce both beneath and on top of the ice cream. That way every bite’s as scrumptious as the first.

Recommended glass: Classic Sundae

Ingredients

Serves 1

1/2 –1	cup	Ganache or chocolate sauce
2	scoops	ice cream, best quality or homemade
big dollop		canned whipped cream
1	tablespoon	toasted nuts, chopped
1		maraschino cherry

Directions

1. Pour your desired amount of ganache or chocolate sauce into the bottom of the sundae glass.

2. Place 2 scoops of ice cream into the glass.

3. Pour your desired amount of sauce over the ice cream.

4. Top with the whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a Maraschino cherry.

Preparation time: Several minutes.
