S’mores
Recipe

Sticky, gooey, crunchy, melty, toasty, chocolatey… there aren’t enough words to describe the splendor of s’mores. Of course they’re best made by a campfire, but an ordinary kitchen stove will do in a pinch!

Ingredients

16–32 marshmallows
16 chocolate bar squares
16 graham crackers, halved
Directions

1. Skewer the marshmallows and roast them over an open fire or stove until gooey and golden brown—darker is O.K.

2. Place a square of chocolate on top of a graham cracker.

3. Place one or two melted marshmallows on top of a chocolate-covered graham cracker. Top with a second cracker and gently press down to form a sandwich.

4. Eat immediately—and don’t be afraid to ask for “s’more”!

Preparation Time:
Ninety minutes, if an impatient toddler is waiting; several hours, if you’re lingering around the campfire.
