Because it’s made with frozen fruit, this sauce is a great way to savor the flavor of raspberries at any time of year. Pour it over ice cream or cake to instantly turn a simple dessert into a special event.

Ingredients
Serves 2 cups
1 12-ounce package frozen raspberries, thawed
1 cup raspberry jam or preserves
1/4 cup sugar
     
     
     
 
 
Directions 
 
  1. Combine the raspberries, jam, and sugar in a bowl, and mix well.
  2. Remove the raspberry seeds by pouring the sauce through a mesh strainer set over a spacious bowl. Use a spatula to press the mixture through, producing a smooth, jewel-red sauce.
  3. Use immediately, or store in the refrigerator for two to three days.
