No matter how busy the day, or how basic the dish, a meal prepared with passion is always Beyond Wonderful.

The heart, soul and rolled-up sleeves behind Beyond Wonderful, Barbara Adams believes that nourishment doesn’t come in a can or a microwave tray. It comes from gathering with friends and family to enjoy the sensuous pleasures of cooking and eating—even if the gathering is brief and the meal simple.

Barbara prefers to cook with local, seasonal ingredients and enjoys supporting the many organic farmers, vintners, and food artisans around her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. In these pages, she shares her vision with support from a dedicated team of food and wine experts, writers, artists and editors, all united in a common passion for food.

Our History
Beyond Wonderful was launched in September 2004. Since then, we’ve grown steadily to become one of the Web’s premier destinations for innovative, reliable and inspiring culinary content. In addition to showcasing Barbara’s recipes and editorial content, our site is a publication headquarters for some of today’s leading online authorities on wine, cheese, produce, baking, and mushrooms.

About Barbara
Barbara Adams has spent her whole life cooking. She owns and operates Beyond Wonderful’s parent company, TediJak Productions. A mother and busy professional, Barbara understands the challenges of preparing fine food when time is short, and specializes in recipes that are practical, accessible, and always Beyond Wonderful.
