With all the fun of costumes and kids and family and friends, does the menu really matter? We think so! For our annual pumpkin-carving party, we opted for a beef stew-and-buttermilk biscuit feast that’s satisfying, but very easy to pull off —especially since the stew can be made a day or two ahead. Added bonus: this wholesome meal brings some much-needed kid-friendly nutrition to the table. Just make sure the little goblins save room for s’mores!
