| 1 | 10-ounce bag | puri snacks* | 
| 1 | 15 1/2 -ounce can | garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained | 
| 2 | boiled potatoes, cubed in ½-inch pieces | |
| 1 | raita | |
| 1 | cup | tamarind chutney | 
| 1 | 16-ounce bag | sev** | 
| ~ | chili powder | |
| ~ | garam masala | |
| ~ | salt | |
| ~ | cilantro leaves for decoration | 
| *Puri snacks are Indian packaged crackers made from flour and spices. They are eaten as a snack, and used in various dishes.**Sev is a type of Indian noodle made with gram flour and used to top chaat and other preparations. | 
- Set out four small plates and place 10 puries on each.
- Top with two to three tablespoons each of the garbanzo beans and cubed potatoes.
- Beat the raita so that it is runny rather than thick.
- Drizzle two to three tablespoons each of the raita and tamarind chutney over the mixture.
- Top with several tablespoons of sev.
- Sprinkle chili powder, garam masala, and salt over the top, and top with cilantro leaves. Serve immediately.
