
Sweet, sour and a bit unexpected, this makes a lovely alternative to traditional margaritas.



~ lemon wedge for rimming
~ | sugar for rimming | |
1 ½ | ounce | tequila |
2 | ounces | sake |
1 | ounce | cherry syrup |
1 | ounce | sour mix |
1 | ounce | lemon juice |
~ | cherry and lemon twist for garnish |

1. Moisten the rim of a Margarita or martini glass by rubbing it with a wedge of lemon.
2. Pour sugar onto a plate, dip the glass to coat the rim, and set aside.
3. Pour the tequila, sake, cherry syrup, sour mix and lemon juice in to an ice-filled shaker and shake till cold.
4. Strain into the sugar-rimmed glass and decorate with a cherry and lemon twist.
