Sticky, gooey, crunchy, melty, toasty, chocolatey… there aren’t enough words to describe the splendor of s’mores. Of course they’re best made by a campfire, but an ordinary kitchen stove will do in a pinch!

16–32 | marshmallows | |
16 | chocolate bar squares | |
16 | graham crackers, halved |
1. Skewer the marshmallows and roast them over an open fire or stove until gooey and golden brown—darker is O.K.
2. Place a square of chocolate on top of a graham cracker.
3. Place one or two melted marshmallows on top of a chocolate-covered graham cracker. Top with a second cracker and gently press down to form a sandwich.
4. Eat immediately—and don’t be afraid to ask for “s’more”!
