
This slaw adds a tangy garnish that can perk up just about any meal. Try it on pulled pork sandwiches, sliders and fish tacos!
| Cilantro Slaw | ||
| 1 | head | green cabbage, thinly sliced into bite-sized pieces |
| 1/2 | bunch | cilantro leaves and tender young stems, roughly chopped* |
| Lime Dressing | ||
| 1/3 | cup | freshly squeezed lime juice** |
| 1/3 | cup | vegetable oil |
| 2 | tablespoons | honey |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | crushed garlic |
| 1 | whole | jalapeño pepper, seeds and ribs removed; finely chopped |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt |
*Use the leaves and tender stems, not the thicker stems.
**Juice for this dressing must be freshly squeezed—do not substitute with bottled.
