There are few things more festive than a bubbly cocktail with a sweet surprise at the bottom of the glass!
Recommended Glass: Champagne flute
1 | sugar cube | |
2 | dashes | angostura bitters |
5 | ounces | chilled Champagne or sparkling wine |
1 | lemon peel for decoration | |
1. Chill the glass in the refrigerator, or fill it with ice for several minutes, then discard the ice.
2. Place the sugar cube at the bottom of the glass and pour the bitters on it.
3. Fill the glass with chilled champagne or sparkling wine and stir gently.
4. Decorate with a lemon peel and serve immediately.
