Cranberry and Horseradish Relish

Spectacular in both flavor and color—and incredibly easy to prepare. Pile this on for the ultimate turkey or ham sandwich.

Ingredients
12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
2 large shallots, peeled, root ends trimmed, and quartered
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish
~ Freshly ground black pepper to taste
~ Kosher salt to taste

Directions
  1. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the cranberries, shallots and sugar and pulse to coarsely chop.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the sour cream, horseradish and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Refrigerate relish for at least one hour before serving.

Preparation Time: 
Several minutes plus one hour minimum downtime.
