Ice Cream Sundae with
Chocolate Sauce

A sundae really needs no introduction, and it’s pretty much impossible to mess up. The only essential rule is to add chocolate sauce both beneath and on top of the ice cream. That way every bite’s as scrumptious as the first.

1/2 –1 cup ganache or chocolate sauce
2 scoops ice cream, best quality or homemade
~ fresh or canned whipped cream
1 tablespoon toasted nuts, chopped
1 maraschino cherry

1. Place the desired amount of ganache or chocolate sauce in the bottom of the sundae glass.

2. Top with 2 scoops of ice cream.

3. Add more sauce on top.

4. Top with whipped cream, chopped nuts and a maraschino cherry.
