Thousand Island Dressing

I keep a batch of this on hand for Shrimp Louis and everyday green salads. Quick, easy, and way better than bottled.

1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chili sauce*
1 scallion, chopped**
1 tablespoon pickle relish
8 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1. Mix the mayonnaise, chili sauce, scallions, relish, Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

2. Cover with plastic wrap and put in refrigerator for 4–6 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld.

Preparation Time: 
10 minutes plus 4–6 hours downtime.
