If you can squeeze an orange, you can prepare this elegant, colorful dessert. Dress it up with a sprig of mint and a splash of Cointreau if you like.

1 1/2 | cups | Simple Syrup |
2 | cups | freshly squeezed blood orange juice, strained |
1 | lemon, juiced | |
- Combine the Simple Syrup, orange and lemon juice and chill for several hours in the fridge.
- Process the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Place the finished sorbet in a container and freeze for 8 hours or overnight.
- Remove the sorbet from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
