
Consider this recipe a starting point for your own delicious salad-in-a-wrap creations. Just spread a round of lavosh bread (or a jumbo tortilla) with flavorful dressing, then let your imagination run wild!
| 1 | 10-inch | lavosh bread, or a jumbo flour tortilla |
| 1 ½–2 | tablespoons | thousand island dressing |
| 2–3 | leaves | leafy green lettuce |
| 4–5 | thin slices | tomato |
| 1–2 | thin slices | red onion |
| 1/2 | sliced | avocado |
| ~ | salt | |
| ~ | freshly ground black pepper |
- Lay the bread on a flat working surface and cover with a light coat of Thousand Island dressing.
- Arrange the lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and avocado evenly over top of the bread. Season with salt and pepper.
- Firmly roll up the sandwich, set it seam-side down on a cutting board, and slice into sections.
- Arrange on a plate and serve.
